Ramayana - is all about the life of SriRama, and it is a guide to humanity which tells us how we should live & how we shouldn't.

But did you know that the Valmiki Ramayana was taught as a mandatory subject in ancient gurukulams? Yes, it was. But unfortunately it is completely out of the school texts now in the current Macaulay education system.

In VVV Gurukulams, it is being taught as a subject and the sessions are being blessed by Srimajjagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Raghaveshwara Bharati Mahaswamiji to the students of VVV gurukulams amidst the beautiful nature which is given in Sanatan Bharatiya education mode at Shatashrunga hills of Gokarna which is the birthplace of Hanuman.

ರಾಮಾಯಣ - ರಾಮನ ಅಯನವಿದು, ಅಂದರೆ ಶ್ರೀರಾಮನು ನಡೆದು ಬಂದ ಹಾದಿ. ಮಾನವನು ಹೇಗೆ ಬದುಕಬೇಕು ಹಾಗೂ ಹೇಗೆ ಬದುಕಬಾರದು ಎಂಬುದಕ್ಕೆ ದಾರಿದೀಪವಿದು.

ನಿಮಗಿದು ಗೊತ್ತೇ? ಪ್ರಾಚೀನ ಗುರುಕುಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಲ್ಮೀಕಿ ರಾಮಾಯಣವನ್ನು ಕಡ್ಡಾಯ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಕಲಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಈಗಿನ ಭಾರತದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಪದ್ಧತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ (ಮೆಕಾಲೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಪದ್ಧತಿ) ರಾಮಾಯಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ಥಾನವಿಲ್ಲದಾಗಿದೆ!

ವಿವಿವಿ ಗುರುಕುಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಲ್ಮೀಕಿ ರಾಮಾಯಣವು ಒಂದು ಪಠ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರೀಮಜ್ಜಗದ್ಗುರು ಶಂಕರಾಚಾರ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಘವೇಶ್ವರ ಭಾರತೀ ಮಹಾಸ್ವಾಮಿಗಳವರು ರಾಮಾಯಣ ಪಾಠವನ್ನು ಹನುಮಜನ್ಮಭೂಮಿಯಾದ ಶತಶೃಂಗ ಗಿರಿಶಿಖರಗಳ ಸುಂದರ ಪರಿಸರದಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರುಕುಲಗಳ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
