What is the Essential Element of Success That we Often Forget?

When I vacation, I often find it’s just another venue for work. I love my job, so it’s difficult to distinguish between work and vacation.

However, if we are going to be successful in the long term, not get burned out, and maintain a healthy personal life, we need to take time off from our regular work routine.

That’s where it's essential to take a vacation where it's not easy to work so we can rest and recharge.
Of course, vacation means different things to different people, but I find relaxation in activities that involve a challenge.

I am at Mammoth Mountain skiing with my wife and taking an actual vacation from my work.
Taking a vacation from our typical work routine fuels our creativity, allows us to reflect on what we value in life, and recharges our drive to pursue our goals when we return.

Let’s not forget that taking time to rest, whatever form that is for us is a vital part of our success, not only in our business but also in our personal lives.
